Vice President Dr. Jane Ansah arrived exactly at 9:00 hours to attend the funeral ceremony of Father Damaseke at Likuni Catholic Parish in Lilongwe, paying her respects to the late priest who served the community with dedication and passion.
The ceremony is in progress as Christians pay their last respects through body viewing, with mourners gathering to bid farewell to Father Damaseke, who passed away after a short illness.

Father Damaseke was known for his impactful ministry, particularly in championing social media evangelisation through platforms like Tiyankhuleni Ambuye. He served as curate at Nathenje Parish and previously worked as National Communications Secretary and Research Coordinator for the Malawi Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The funeral ceremony is a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated his life to serving others, with Vice President Ansah and other dignitaries in attendance to pay their respects.
