A 41-year-old woman, Takondwa Njirayagoma is in Police custody in Thyolo for allegedly assaulting her husband by biting his private parts following a domestic dispute over alleged infidelity.
Thyolo Police spokesperson Rebecca Kashoti told MIJ Online that the couple had been living separately after the wife refused to stay with her husband for reasons known to her.
Kashoti said the husband later became romantically involved with another woman which did not sit well with Njirayagoma.
“Upon learning about the affair, Njirayagoma allegedly confronted the pair and found them together.
“In a fit of rage, she reportedly tore her husband’s trousers and bit his genitals,” Kashoti said.
The man was rushed to Malamulo Adventist Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
