A tragic aviation accident has claimed the lives of all 14 people on board a small passenger aircraft in South Sudan, authorities have confirmed.
The aircraft, identified as a Cessna 208 Caravan operated by CityLink Aviation Ltd, crashed approximately 20 kilometres south-west of the capital, Juba.
Officials say the plane was carrying 12 South Sudanese nationals and two Kenyan citizens at the time of the crash. Sadly, there were no survivors.

Authorities have since dispatched an investigation team to the crash site to determine the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that bad weather conditions, including low visibility, may have contributed to the crash.
The government has urged the public to remain calm as investigations continue, while efforts are underway to notify the families of the victims.
The incident has once again raised concerns about aviation safety in the region, particularly during periods of poor weather.
