Max & Sherry Dine and Lounge won the award of the Most Preferred Restaurant in Malawi, during the Consumer Choice Awards ceremony help on Saturday night at Umodzi Park, Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Speaking after receiving the award, Founder of Max & Sherry Hope Mezuwa Banda thanked those that nominated and voted for the Restaurant which is situated in Naperi, Blantyre.
“We would like to thank those that nominated and voted for us. We are grateful for letting us be part of this historic event,” said Mezuwa.
Some of the winners of the night included Aero Lounge which was voted as the most preferred Entertainment House in Malawi and Media personality Joab Frank Chakhaza who was voted Most Professional Corporate & Ceremony Emcee.
Founder and CEO of the Consumer Choice Awards Diana Lazer said it is important to recognise people’s excellence, saying it is key in accomplishing development aspirations.
Minister of Tourism Dr Vera Kamtukule graced the ceremony which was hosted by Cynthia Zonde Zulu and spiced up by a special performance by musician Driemo.
