Chinga opens up about her mother’s memorial service

By Rahim Abdul

Spiritual singer Miracle Chinga has expressed her support for including non-spiritual singers in the memorial service for his mother, Grace Chinga.

The event is scheduled to take place at the BICC on Sunday, July 6 in Lilongwe.

In a candid conversation with Chippie actors on his YouTube show asked about the participation of non-spiritual singers like Jetu and Driemo, Miracle emphasized that the event is not about gospel or secular music, but rather a celebration of her mother’s life.

“Grace Chinga is loved by everyone, and my mother taught me that I should not be a judge. I am not one to complain; it’s God’s judgment,” Miracle explained.

She added that the people who have asked to participate do so because they loved her  mother.

The Grace Chinga memorial music festival will feature a diverse lineup of musicians, including Billy Kaunda, Theresa Phondo, Evance Meleka, Kamuzu Barracks, and many others.
