Jumah calls Malawians reflect on 61st independence anniversary theme

By Vincent Gunde

President of the Revolutionary party- Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, has called on patriotic Malawians to reflect on the 61st Independence anniversary theme “Restoring Broken Foundation and moving forward.”

Jumah has reminded Malawians that it has been 61 years when they started ruling themselves, the country has been ruled by 6 presidents all qualified and educated people with title holders on the land professors and Doctors but the nation is moving backward and poverty is ridden.

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera-restoring Malawi’s broken foundation and moving forward.

He has asked Malawians to question themselves that has the country really clocked 61 years or is a lie and exaggeration saying citizens have failed as a country, no fuel, no sugar, roads are not at par with any other country and 61 years of poverty and debt-ridden of between MK 18 to k19 trillion.

Speaking through his Revolutionary voice, Jumah has observed that at 61 years of Independence, the country has one Dialysis machine to diagnose cancer only at the Kamuzu Central Hospital, the machine cost 7,000 US Dollars but the country has spent MK8 billion for something that they can’t celebrate.

Jumah has described Malawi leaders as not of common sense, dunderheads and people who don’t think of the future observing that Restoring broken foundation and moving forward is confessing that Malawians have lived for 61 years with broken foundation.

He said Malawi leaders are of lies, they don’t want to stand for the truth saying the MCP is not the only intelligent party to restore the broken foundation questioning it that who broke the foundation for the country to hold him accountable and what mechanism to put in place to restore the broken foundation.

The Revolutionary leader said Malawi is one country where its leaders do not want to accept failures and mistakes, what they know is gratification in front of opposition parties saying this is making the country not to move forward.

He suggested that the theme of this year’s independence celebrations could have been “Fixing our mistakes and correcting the future” for Malawians to know that they have the duty to develop their country together than waiting for foreigners, World Bank and IMF to develop their country.

“Why did we build a country on the wrong foundation, Zambia has produced three presidents from Malawi, Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, Lupiya Banda and Edgar Lungu and there is a rumor that Robert Mugabe was a Malawian, Malawians have to ask someone from Ghana to come and give them independence,” said Jumah.

He said the Revolutionary minds have proved that indeed Malawi as a country was built on wrong foundation looking at its past history citing Orton Chirwa was murdered in Prison, Harry Bwanausi, Henry Masauko Chipembere, and others, died in exile.

Jumah has advised Malawi leaders that after fixing the wrong foundations they have to check their languages at podiums of self-gratification and castigations faulting them wrong of bringing a ghost future that they will never see it.
