Pan – Africanist and Revolutionary leader of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, says for 62 years of the country’s independence, Malawian leaders have been moving with a begging bowl for loans, aid and grants to implement various development projects government is undertaking.
Jumah has claimed that a country that values aid, loans and grants from outside over its own resources, remains completely a poor nation citing Malawi, the paramount chief of the world’s 46 poorest nations.
He said independence without economic freedom is nothing saying the western countries took all the resources from Africa to develop America and Europe claiming that African leaders are going to the same thieves to beg for loans, aid and grants.

Speaking through the Revolutionary voice, Jumah said there’s no way African leaders can develop their countries with loans, aid and grants but chaining their people to be slaves in their countries.
Jumah said it is only in Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Botswana and Namibia where the leaders have told the world that the resources they have, it is for their people and not for western governments.
The Pan – Africanist said African leaders are western educated puppets, they cannot stand together with their fellow leaders who have sent a strong message to the world that African resources are for Africans to develop their own continent.
He said as for Malawi, is not a poor country, it has got weak and lazy leadership, if not corrupt leadership observing that Malawi is failing to buy its own cannabis sativa, minerals to sell to the outside world but valuing much on aid, loans and grants.
Jumah said this could be the time for strong leadership to start finding markets for hemp and tobacco so that the money gain be channelled to repayment of loans saying within two years, Malawi can say Hallelujah!!!! to World Bank and IMF.
He had noted with a great concern that Malawi is trapped in abstract poverty for 62 years describing this as a tragedy of dependency, Kamuzu left Malawi with a huge debit, Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Professor Bingu wa Mutharika, Dr. Joyce Banda, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, are trapped in the same debt.
The Pan – Africanist said 22 million people have borrowed K28 trillion in a country – Malawi where there are no better roads, hospitals run without medicines, and citizens have no better future for their country if it remains to be ruled by politicians.
” In 62 years, we have seen poverty, poverty and poverty, commercial banks without forex, this is the time to start demanding for transparency and accountability by joining the Revolutionary Party to change the face of Malawi,” said Jumah.
He said the crisis the country is in today is a failure of leadership, the country has leaders without a vision and commitment saying the choice is with the people to think outside the box, God has given them brains to think for the future of their country.
Jumah has finally said Malawi is 62 years old ruling herself but the people are still poor, they need a Revolutionary leader to liberate the country for new politics of doing things, warning Malawians that if they continue electing the same people who have no vision for their country, Malawian leaders will continue to be puppets of the West for loans, aid and grants.
