A total of 270 million kwacha has been won by lucky winners in the ongoing Tola promotion by Airtel Money Malawi.
The latest prizes were announced during the 9th draw held in Lilongwe since the promotion was launched in May this year.
In that draw alone, 303 more people walked away with a share of 30 million kwacha.
Three of the top winners were Mavuto Matewere, a police officer from Mangochi, Albert Chiona, a second-hand clothes vendor from Karonga, and Daniel Nauro, who runs a construction business in Area 25, Lilongwe.
Each of the three received 5 million kwacha.
The remaining 300 winners in the draw each received 50,000 kwacha.
Airtel Money Marketing Manager, Virginia Jere, described the promotion as a game changer.
She said the initiative is producing millionaires every week and giving ordinary Malawians a chance to transform their lives.
