Residents in several parts of Malawi woke up to changing weather conditions on Tuesday morning, with satellite observations showing significant cloud cover over many areas while sunshine remained visible across parts of the Central Region.
The latest satellite picture indicates that thick clouds have spread across several locations, creating concerns among residents about whether rain could be on the way.
However, the situation is different in parts of the Central Region, where the sun has continued to shine despite the presence of clouds elsewhere.

Areas including Lilongwe, Mchinji, Kasungu and Salima have experienced relatively sunny conditions during the morning hours.
The changing weather pattern has attracted attention from residents, particularly those monitoring the possibility of rain and its impact on farming activities, travel and daily life.
As weather conditions continue to change throughout the day, Malawians are encouraged to keep watching the skies and follow official weather updates for the latest forecasts.
