Empowering education:GOE strengthens learning for needy girls in Mulanje

God Over Everything (GOE) on Thursday underscored its commitment by supplying learning and teaching materials to 50 girls in primary schools throughout Mulanje.

Martha Samuel, the organization’s founder, shared that the motivation for the donation arose from the troubling trend of girls leaving out school due to lack of essential materials.

“Reflecting on my own experiences, I find fulfillment in realizing my dream of supporting young girls, having launched the organization with savings from my monthly salary,” she said.

James Kafantaye, Chairperson of Mulanje Local Education Authority (LEA) School Management Committee, commended GOE for its timely support, emphasizing the crucial role of education.

“I urge other well-wishers to join in assisting girls in need, particularly considering the challenges many families face in acquiring school materials post-cyclone,” he said.

Chisomo Sadibwa, a learner from Namatuni Primary School, expressed gratitude for the donated school uniform, pens, and exercise books to her.

She revealed that lack of these materials had led her to drop out of school and thanked the organization while blessing its owner.

Established in 2019 and headquartered in Mulanje, GOE extended its support to Namatuni Primary School, Mulanje LEA Khaya, and Khunguni LEA by providing school uniforms, pens, and exercise books.
