Mutharika blasts MCP led government a “Do nothing government”

The Former President ,who is also leader of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Arthur Peter Mutharika took a swipe at the MCP led government and dubbed it as a ‘do nothing government.’ He was responding to DPP youths from various regions who paid him a visit at his Mangochi’s Page House as part of his 81st birthday Celebrations.

The DPP leader, reminded youths of his campaign rallies message to the nation, that the court ordered 2020 fresh elections were a watershed where he challenged people to choose politics or development. Today, many Malawians are regretting,Tonse alliance government has lied to them by giving Malawians only lip service while doing nothing!

It is suggested that Mutharika currently receives numerous apologetic messages of regret from people across the nation. The former President further assured the youths that DPP will bounce back government in 2025.

However, somewhere in July 2023, DPP will be chosing a new leader to succeed APM, thus, he advised the people to choose wisely on a person who is patriotic, loyal, disciplined, hardworking and with a clear great vision for both the party and the nation, then!
