TNM Super League: TN Stars Stuns Mafco, Blue Eagles Return From The North With A Single Point

Kasungu based TN Stars come from behind to beat Mafco FC at Kasungu Stadium and move to ninth position in the TNM Super League.

The visitors were the first to score in the first half through Zikani Sichinga but the hosts equalised in the second half through Chiletso Zoya before China Chirwa scored the winner minutes later.

The Stars are now on position nine with 32 points from 23 games while Mafco are on eighth position with the same number of points but the Salima based soldiers have a better goal difference with a game in hand.

The match involving Karonga United and Blue Eagles ended goalless at Karonga Stadium to end a miserable outing for the area 30 side who lost 1-0 yesterday against Chitipa United.

The draw means Ingwina Boys remain on position four with 37 points from 24 games while Eagles are on position 12 with 27 points having played 23 games.

In Mzuzu, Mzuzu Warriors suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Moyale Barracks in an entertaining Mzuzu derby that took place at Mzuzu stadium.
