One of Malawi’s well known gospel artists, Limbani Chibwana, has announced the release of his new song titled Pemphera (Pray), which is expected to be launched next week.
Rather than focusing solely on entertainment, the song carries a strong spiritual message that encourages people to make prayer a central part of their daily lives.
According to Chibwana, Pemphera reminds listeners that communication with God should not be limited to times of hardship but should also continue during moments of success and happiness.

He said many people tend to seek divine intervention only when facing difficulties, yet prayer remains important in every season of life.
The artist believes the song will resonate with people who are struggling with personal challenges, stress, and uncertainty, offering them hope and encouragement.
Chibwana added that prayer has the power to strengthen faith and provide comfort during difficult moments, making it an essential tool for navigating life’s challenges.
As part of his mission to reach a wider audience, the musician said he will continue experimenting with different musical styles and sounds in his productions.
He explained that embracing various genres allows his message to connect with people from different backgrounds, age groups and musical preferences.
Beyond his music career, Chibwana is also a successful music producer and owner of CL Touch Studios, which operates in both Blantyre and Lilongwe.
Through his studio, he has worked with several prominent Malawian artists, including Skeffa Chimoto and Mlaka Maliro, helping shape and promote local music talent while continuing to expand his own artistic influence.
