Why do some men walk away from their family?

0

By Burnett Munthali

I was watching a church service when I came across a young lady who asked for counselling and guidance from her church pastor regarding business and marriage.

She said that she needed prayers because no matter how hard she works, her business never prospers.

She also said everyone in her family struggles.Even when a man comes to ask for marriage, the relationship always ends prematurely.

“If this is a curse from your family, you will be delivered tonight. If this is a family curse, I will pray for you and you will be delivered the spirit of failure but you struggle because of arrogance and lack of knowledge, you must learn from successful women how to do business and live with a man. A man needs peace,” the pastor said.

This article scrabbles about to find out some of the reasons men walk away from their family.

What makes men walk away?

Firstly, many things can cause a man (or woman) to “walk away” from their family. It may be infidelity (by either person). It may be “falling out of love”. It may be a desire to get away from the responsibilities of a marriage/family.

Secondly, he may like you but find it too overwhelming to pursue a relationship or maybe he’s just emotionally unavailable.

It is possible past experiences have colored his current outlook.

He may just need time to overcome those experiences but don’t cross your fingers. He might be afraid to let someone in.

Thirdly, it takes courage to prioritize and sometimes put a bit of distance between you and the one you love. So, can a man stay away from a woman he loves? Absolutely. Because real love isn’t just about being together all the time; it’s about knowing when a step back can ultimately lead to a leap forward in your relationship.

Fourthly, some guys may act distant because they fear that pursuing a romantic relationship with someone they’re close friends with could harm that friendship. They worry that if things don’t work out romantically, it could create awkwardness or even lead to the end of the friendship.

Fifthly, many people feel a sense of grief for the person and relationship they lost. Your significant other might very well experience intense sadness after you walk away as he grieves for what you had together. Being dumped can also cause him to question his self-worth and lower his self-esteem. He may miss you.

Sixthly, why men leave the women they love could be any number of reasons. Toxic relationships, being used, feeling emotionally spent, or meeting someone new could also contribute to what makes a man leave his wife. A wife left behind may be wondering what happened to her once-happy relationship.

Seventhly, how do you know if he misses you when you’re away? He doesn’t wait for you to text or call him first, he reaches out to you on his own. He wants to hear your voice, see your face, or just chat with you about your day. He shows interest in your life and what’s going on with you. He says he misses you back when you say it first.

Finally, do guys go quiet when they like a girl? Yes, it’s totally a thing guys might tend to talk softer or quieter around a girl they like. It’s like their way of unconsciously showing interest and being all sweet and gentle. You know, it’s that cute and slightly nervous vibe that comes with having a crush on someone.

Zikhale delivers a public lecture of Youth Empowerment

Students have been advised to embrace professionalism if they are to be reputable leaders of the country in the near future.

The Homeland Minister, Dr Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma, made the call yesterday at Domino in Zomba during the Mighty UNIMA MCP Wing Public Lecture themed “Empowering the Youth: The Transformative Benefits of Youth Involvement in Politics.”

Ng’oma underscored the need for creativity among the students, which is very vital in providing solutions to some of the problems this country is facing.
“I am so impressed with the heart these youths have for governance and politics; they need this kind of preparation ushered to them while they are not fully involved in politics.”

“This wing has also asked for an audience with the president “servant leader” Dr Lazarus Chakwera, and I told them that before meeting him, they should have viable plans to discuss with him that, when implemented, can transform their lives, academics, and this country as a whole, rather than just meeting the president with applause messages,” explained Ng’oma.

Commenting on the same, the University of Malawi student council president, Thanks Eliah Mwalwanda, said the lecture was of paramount importance to the students as they had acquired soft leadership skills enriched with knowledge and tactics that can help us navigate the harsh realities.

Mwalwanda also advised his fellow students to embrace the advice of the minister, saying discipline, focus, and confidence are good traits one must embrace on the road to success to positively contribute towards the development of the country.
“When we talk about Vision 2063, we are talking about the active involvement of youths and their participation in politics and leadership positions; hence, there is a need to learn from those who are flourishing in politics,” said Mwalwanda
