Theresa Phondo has released the official music video for her latest single, “No Gwede,” delivering a powerful message of resilience and focus. The track, already gaining traction, urges young people not to be shaken by life’s pressures or demotivating questions from peers.
Through vivid lyrics, Phondo addresses common social anxieties: “Who is your loved one? When will we dance at your wedding? Where did you park your car? Where did you build your house?” The song counters these distractions by reminding listeners to trust God’s timing and stay unwavering. “Because I am the Creator’s child, I do things with ease—no Gwede, 100 percent,” she sings.
Fans have quickly embraced the anthem. Rhoda Paseli wrote, “You always speak to me directly through your songs. I NO GWEDEEEE will be the anthem.” Owen Choso praised Phondo’s rare emotional connection, noting the song is “touching and uplifting, giving hope and strength to keep believing.”
