Just three months in the office, Films Association of Malawi President Gift Sukali has already signed two major deals for local films to start being premiered in a proper cinema atmosphere.
Speaking after signing an agreement with Amaryllis Hotel, Sukali populary known as ‘Sukez’ said the hotel will transform it’s conference hall to a proper cinema atmosphere for movie directors to premiere their films at the hotel.
He said actors in the country lack platforms to show case their products, a situation he says is affecting growth of the sector and the signing of the MOU will help local film directors show case their movies.
