Tonderai Banda has announced that he and Malawian musician Onesimus have mutually agreed to end their professional partnership after working together for five years.
The announcement marks the end of a collaboration that saw Banda manage and work closely with Onesimus throughout a significant period of the artist’s music career.
In a statement, Banda said the decision to part ways was reached by mutual agreement and was made with respect and understanding between both parties.
He thanked Onesimus for the journey they shared, describing the singer as someone who became like family during their years of working together.
Banda said the partnership was filled with memorable experiences, growth and achievements that they will both cherish.
Despite ending their professional relationship, he stressed that there is no bad blood between them.
He said they will continue to respect, support and encourage one another as they each begin new chapters in their respective careers.

Banda also expressed gratitude to fans, business partners and everyone who supported their work over the past five years.
He wished Onesimus continued success in his music career and said he looks forward to seeing him achieve even greater milestones.
The separation brings to a close one of Malawi’s notable artist-management partnerships, with both Tonderai Banda and Onesimus expected to pursue new opportunities independently.
