President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has assured Malawians that he and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will continue to govern the country to 2030 despite other people who are not wishing him and the DPP well.
President Professor Mutharika said there are some people who are castigating and insulting him for no proper reasons assuring them that he doesn’t care about them, he is there as President of the Republic of Malawi to 2030.

Speaking at the main entrance of Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe on his arrival from southern region, Professor Mutharika said he is all aware that there are some disgruntled people who are not happy that him is the President of the country and that they don’t see anything good he has done to the country and what they see are only bad things.
” Anthu amenewa amatchedwa a Nyapapi, they don’t see anything good of what others have done only speaks negative stories,” said Mutharika.
Professor Mutharika advised Malawians not to wish somebody dead saying he is in good health today despite some people already escorted him to an early grave and a Nigerian preacher who prophesied that he will be dead by December, is 6 feet down the grave.
He said it is only God who knows how and when someone will die assuring those who are escorting him.for an early grave that they will be the first ones to die than him.
The President urged DPP members and supporters in Lilongwe to prepare for the by Elections coming for Lilongwe City Bwaila constituency thanking the people for voting three DPP Members of Parliament saying he is optimistic that Bwaila constituency will go to the DPP to make 4 DPP MPs in Lilongwe City.
On fuel crisis, President Professor Mutharika said his government is doing everything possible to have fuel in the country saying he is happy that the long – awaited fuel is arriving in the country.
He rubished questions which are being made by some other people that where are the fuel tankers that government promised that they are on the way coming saying the evidence is there that fuel is arriving in the country.
Oh hunger crisis, President Professor Mutharika said no Malawian will die of hunger observing that people are now eating three times a day or even more than this and that no one is eating wild bushes ( chitedze) and nyika as food for their survival.
