By Chisomo Phiri

Malawian writer, child advocate and Mzuzu University(MZUNI) alumna Happiness Chinangwa has published her second book titled ‘The Life We Live’ which encourages readers to embrace life’s different seasons and learn from their experiences.

The book was launched on August 22, 2026, at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre.

In an interview with 247 Malawi News, Chinangwa  said she was motivated to write the book by a desire to create a reflective tool that can speak to people regardless of the season of life they are experiencing

She said the ‘The Life We Live’ carries the message that life is a journey that should be embraced, with every season offering important lessons.

The author encouraged readers to pause, reflect on their experiences and understand that every season has a purpose.

“I wanted to write something that slow readers, fast readers and even those who skim can connect with, where every chapter stands alone and resonates with what someone needs in that moment,”she said.

Chinangwa described Malawi’s writing industry as a growing sector with significant potential, saying more Malawians are beginning to tell their own stories and share messages of hope, growth and identity.
