Lilongwe Chilobwe legislator Honorable Lawrence Chakakala Chaziya has pledged to support Bwaila constituency with 1 million kwacha every month.
He said the funds will be used to buy fuel for an ambulance procured by the area’s parliamentary candidate.
The support will begin on 1 July under the incoming member of parliament, Honorable Precious Kabambe.
The announcement was made at the Malawi Congress Party’s regional office in Area 3, Lilongwe.
Senior party officials gathered at the event to mobilize supporters ahead of the vote.
They urged MCP followers to turn out in large numbers to vote for Precious Kabambe on 30 June this month.
