The family of the late hip-hop artist ‘Martse’ has announced that this year’s Memorial Show for the artist will take place on Saturday, May 25, at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
The event will mark the second anniversary on Martse’s death who breathed his last on 23 May, 2022 following a house fire at Cape Maclear in Mangochi district.
According to a statement released by the family, on the day, fans are supposed to clad in ‘Too Ghetto To Gutter’ outfit which can be purchased from the family through the ‘Martse Foundation’.
Last year, the Martse Memorial Show took place on May 23 at Cape Maclear Primary School ground where a huge crowd turned out to celebrate Martse’s life.
The award-winning hip-hop star succumbed to fire burns which he sustained in a house fire at Cape Maclear and was laid to rest on May 25 in Lilongwe.
