Having been nominated to telecast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, with the very first match involving Malawi National Football Team against Ethiopia, Mibawa television chose not to disappoint.

The Station did its job very well; where most Malawians have expressed satisfaction with everything especially picture quality.

It did not only end in Malawi alone as the Station also fed one of world’s biggest sports beaming channels, Super Sports with signal of the same match.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of the hosts, courtesy of hitman Gabadidho Mhango who scored both goals on the spot after he was fouled in all occasions.

Both goals for the Flames were netted in the first half, and the visitors pulled the consolation in the second half after demonstrating a superb possession.

However, regardless of the efforts, soccer gods ended up smiling for the Lazarus Chakwera boys who did not disappoint at the end of 90-plus minutes.

Mibawa will keep beaming the matches, with another one coming this Thursday, June the 9th, between the Pharaohs of Egypt and the same Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, music lovers have not been left out as this weekend, Saturday precisely, Skeffa Chimoto will be dazzling at the Station’s Multi-purpose hall.
