President Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika has once again proven why he is celebrated as the champion of the people, with government disbursing a massive MK 39,837,075,758 in CDF Education Bursaries to all 35 City, Municipal, and District Councils across Malawi this August.

The unprecedented move is being hailed as a bold and visionary step that puts education, opportunity, and dignity at the heart of national development.

From Lilongwe District Council receiving the highest allocation of MK 1.88 Billion, to M’mbelwa, Mangochi, and Dedza receiving nearly MK 1 Billion each, to Likoma and the Municipal Councils receiving their fair share, President Mutharika’s government has ensured that every corner of Malawi is carried along. This is not just funding.

This is hope delivered. This is a President who understands that a nation’s true wealth lies in educated sons and daughters.

For years communities watched children drop out due to school fees.

Today, under President Mutharika’s leadership, that painful story is changing and thousands of families now have reason to smile.

President Mutharika has consistently pledged to uplift Malawians through education, and this MK 39.8 Billion disbursement is living proof of that promise kept.

While others talk, Mutharika acts. While others divide, Mutharika unites all 35 councils in one national vision of an educated, empowered, and prosperous Malawi.

Education experts say this injection of funds will directly reduce dropout rates, increase enrollment, and give thousands of vulnerable but brilliant students a second chance to chase their dreams.

Chiefs, parents, and students from Balaka to Nsanje, from Rumphi to Thyolo are already lifting their voices in gratitude, calling it the Mutharika Bursary Miracle.

This is the Mutharika touch — leadership with compassion. Leadership that respects the struggles of ordinary Malawians.

Leadership that says your child’s future matters. As the funds hit council accounts this August, Malawi is moving forward with confidence.

Under President Mutharika’s steady hand, education is no longer a privilege for the few, but a right for all. Indeed, this is leadership that uplifts.

This is leadership that honors the people. This is President Mutharika.
