Rudeboy’s management has appealed to the public and the media to stop speculating about the ongoing dispute involving the Okoye family, saying the matter deserves to be handled with dignity and respect.
In a statement released on August 6, Fire Department Inc., the official management of Nigerian music star Rudeboy, said it would not be drawn into public exchanges of allegations surrounding the family controversy.
The management said its main priority is to support Rudeboy’s music career and protect the integrity of his work despite the growing public attention on the matter.
It added that Rudeboy remains focused on producing quality music for his fans across Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.
According to the statement, engaging in public arguments over the family dispute would only distract the artist from his professional commitments.
Fire Department Inc. also expressed gratitude to fans for their continued loyalty and encouragement during the period of heightened public interest.
The management said the positive reception of Rudeboy’s latest single, Blessed & Alive, featuring Sarkodie, demonstrates the strong support he continues to enjoy.
It further urged supporters and media organisations to rely on verified information instead of rumours circulating on social media.
The statement warned that speculation and unverified claims could fuel unnecessary misunderstandings about the family issue.
While declining to comment further on the controversy, the management assured fans that more music releases, performances and other projects are already in the pipeline.
