Musician Bwede has spoken out against criticism surrounding his association with NOMA, insisting that he is not an employee of the organization and receives no salary for the role.
Bwede questioned why some people continue to attack him over his involvement with NOMA, saying he finds it surprising that he is being criticized for work that does not earn him any income.
He maintained that he does not receive a monthly salary from NOMA and has never been on the organization’s payroll. The artist further emphasized that he also does not receive any allowances from NOMA, dismissing claims that he benefits financially from the organization.

According to Bwede, his commitment to NOMA is voluntary and should not be viewed as a paid engagement. He added that he even purchases his own NOMA-branded clothing instead of receiving it free of charge.
Bwede said the public should understand that his support for NOMA comes from personal passion rather than financial rewards.
The musician also dismissed reports suggesting that he receives payments from Mighty Wanderers Football Club.
He insisted that Wanderers has never paid him and that he has never demanded any financial benefits from the club.
Bwede described himself as one of Wanderers’ most passionate supporters, saying his loyalty to the club is genuine.
He declared that he loves Mighty Wanderers more than any other football team in Malawi and will continue supporting the Nomads regardless of circumstances.
Bwede said his love for Wanderers is driven by his heart and not by money, adding that his commitment to the club cannot be bought.
Turning to his music career, the artist promised that his critics should expect to hear more from him in the coming weeks.
He revealed that he is preparing to release new music, which he believes will excite his fans and leave his critics talking.
Bwede said those who dislike him should brace themselves because he has no intention of slowing down his music career.
He also sent a strong message to the Copyright Society of Malawi (COSOMA), warning the organization against treating him unfairly.
Bwede concluded by reaffirming that he will continue pursuing both his music career and his support for Wanderers without being discouraged by criticism, insisting that neither NOMA nor Wanderers pays him for his loyalty.
