Founder, Overseer and President of Living Word Evangelical Church (LIWEC), Prophet David Mbewe of Shalom Mountain Valley who is also National Chairperson of Freedom of Worship Association of Malawi (FOWAM), will on 22 August this 2026 storm the old capital city with testimonies of oils.
According to the official communication seen by our reporters, the event dubbed ZOMBA L’AAHG SHALOM DAY! is set for Chinamwali Community Ground and will run from 12 noon till you receive your Oil of Testimonies.
The communication further states that this year has been declared “In the Year of Our Lord Jesus Of Nazareth the L’AAHG” a season of healing, remembrance and divine visitation.
Renowned gospel musicians will also minister on the day, adding praise and worship to the atmosphere of prayer and deliverance. Organizers say the lineup is expected to draw worshippers from across the Eastern Region and beyond.
The service will be held under the theme “Onse Adachilitsidwa Nakumbukiridwa ndi Atate Yahweh” meaning All will be healed and remembered by Father Yahweh.
Prophet Mbewe, known for his crusades of deliverance and prayer, leads LIWEC and currently chairs FOWAM, a body that brings together worship leaders across Malawi to promote religious freedom and unity.
Church officials say preparations at Chinamwali are already underway, with ushers, choir, technical teams and musicians mobilized for what they describe as “a day of power, music and restoration.”
