The Central Region Football Association (CRFA) has announced the successful acquisition of sponsorship packages for both its league and cup competitions ahead of the 2026 football season, marking a significant boost for football development in the region.
According to a communiqué issued by CRFA General Secretary Antonio Manda, the association secured the sponsorships following extensive engagements and consultations with various partners aimed at strengthening football competitions in the Central Region.
Under the newly secured sponsorship portfolio, Gojet Investment has been unveiled as the official sponsor of the regional leagues for the next three seasons. The company has committed MK50 million towards League One and MK20 million for League Two competitions.
The sponsorship is expected to provide much-needed financial support to participating clubs while enhancing the overall competitiveness and organization of the leagues.

In another development, Intact Limited has agreed to sponsor the Player of the Match Awards in League One. The initiative is expected to motivate players and reward outstanding performances throughout the season.
CRFA says discussions are currently underway with potential partners to sponsor the Player of the Match Awards in League Two. The association has indicated that further details regarding the initiative will be communicated once agreements are finalized.
Meanwhile, long-time football partner Chipiku Stores has redirected its sponsorship towards the Central Region Football Cup. The company has committed MK30 million towards the competition, which is expected to bring together clubs and district teams from across the region.
The association says the new format of the cup competition is designed to promote inclusivity and strengthen the football development pathway by providing opportunities for teams from different districts to compete against established regional clubs.
CRFA has further announced that the detailed allocation of sponsorship funds and prize distribution for all competitions will be officially unveiled on June 25, 2026. The announcement is expected to outline the benefits for champions, runners-up and other stakeholders.
The association has thanked affiliated clubs and stakeholders for their patience and support during the negotiation process, describing the successful sponsorship deals as a collective achievement for football in the Central Region.
With the sponsorship arrangements now secured, CRFA has confirmed that League One fixtures can resume with immediate effect, bringing relief to clubs and supporters who had been awaiting the return of competitive football.
The association has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a vibrant, competitive and sustainable football environment, emphasizing that the new partnerships represent an important step towards transforming and developing the game across the region.
