Musician and humanitarian Patience Namadingo has expressed deep concern over the plight of Malawians stranded in South Africa, saying the situation has left him with a heavy heart amid growing reports of citizens facing hardships in the neighboring country.

In a message shared on his Facebook page, Namadingo said he has been deeply troubled by the situation and has been thinking about the affected Malawians who are in desperate need of support and assistance.

The award winning artist said he could not ignore the suffering of his fellow citizens and stressed that he is determined to do something to help those caught up in the crisis.

“My heart is very heavy, thinking of the Malawians stranded in South Africa. There must be something I can do. Something I will do,” wrote Namadingo.
