Member of Parliament for Nkhata Bay South, Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma, has vowed to keep pushing for meaningful development in his constituency. Speaking on Saturday during the official submission of his nomination papers to the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) at Kachere Teacher Development Centre, Ng’oma, who also serves as Minister of Mining, emphasized his commitment to economic and social progress.

He described the nomination filing as a crucial step in his re-election bid, stressing that his focus remains on improving the lives of his constituents. “This is not just about me—it’s about the people of Nkhata Bay South. I pledge to continue working hard to drive development and promote the welfare of everyone in this constituency,” said Ng’oma.
He highlighted several ongoing development projects under his leadership and called on voters to support his vision for further progress. Meanwhile, Tukombo Ward Councillor Mauka Chirwa and Mbamba Ward Councillor Job Chirwa also submitted their nomination papers.
