Mutharika says DPP will win big in 2025

Former Malawi President and DPP leader Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has vowed that his Party will bounce back and win big in 2025. He made the remarks at the press briefing which his party called at his Page House Residence in Mangochi

Mutharika said the DPP will bounce back in power and rescue the country from what he calls ‘bad government’. He has since accused the current Tonse Alliance administration of failing to govern the country and failing to fulfil the promises they made to Malawians during Campaign time

On the current stage of Affairs in his Party, Mutharika admitted that there were ongoing issues which will soon be sorted out. He has however distanced wrangles in his party from what he has described as a bad economic situation.



Mutharika said the Democratic Progressive Party is sailing through troubled waters because it is not used to being in opposition.
He maintains that everything will be okay when the party is revamped.

On the Strong rumours that he will stand again for the country’s Presidency,Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika says he has not made up his mind on numerous calls from various quarters that he should run again in the forthcoming 2025 presidential polls.

Mutharika said he called for the news conference to talk to Malawians on various issues affecting the nation, and .
