Extreme FC head coach Dan Dzimkambani says he is rebuilding his players’ confidence as the club seeks to end its poor away form in the NBS Bank National Division League.
The Mchinji-based side has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, collecting maximum points in all their home matches. However, defeats in two away fixtures have denied the team six crucial points in the promotion race.
Despite those setbacks, Extreme remain second on the league table with 15 points from seven matches, just one point behind leaders Songwe Border United, who have accumulated 16 points from the same number of games.

Dzimkambani believes the team’s away struggles are now behind them and says the players are fully focused on improving their performances on the road.
The coach expressed confidence that the team’s unity and determination will help them bounce back in the coming fixtures.
He said the squad has responded positively in training and is motivated to maintain its challenge for promotion to the TNM Super League.
Extreme will have an opportunity to prove their progress on Saturday when they travel to Zomba Stadium to face Ndirande Stars in a crucial league encounter.
League leaders Songwe Border United will also be in action on Saturday as they take on Mighty Tigers at Mpira Stadium in another highly anticipated fixture.
The weekend schedule begins on Friday, July 17, with Bangwe All Stars hosting Changalume Barracks at Mpira Stadium.
Other fixtures will see Namitete Zitha welcome Ntaja United at Mchinji Stadium and FOMO face Mzuzu City Hammers at Mulanje Park Stadium on Sunday, July 19, before Chilobwe United host Embangweni United at Mpira Stadium on Monday, July 20.
